REBUILT 1960-63 BOLTED FLYWHEEL

PALMER Precision rebuilt and bolted flywheel.

Fits 1960-63 Corvair cars and trucks

including turbos.

This precision rebuilt early model flywheel

has been disassembled, inspected, machined

and reassembled to minimum tolerances.

This flywheel is rebuilt using

heat-treated bolts and lock nuts

in place of the original cold rivets.

Original Corvair flywheels were assembled

to an alignment specification of .020+.

This unit has been aligned

to .005 for axial (edge) runout

and .008 or less radial (face) runout.

Finally, this flywheel has been dynamically balanced

in steps up to 3500 RPM.

NOTE: it is highly recommended

that any pressure plate be balanced when used

with this rebuilt flywheel before installation.

Imbalance issues such as vibration

are a direct result of an unbalanced pressure plate.
